Modern Midrash: Come Back to Genesis with Rabbi Elaine Zecher

Come back to Genesis to re-meet and re-create the lives of the characters through Modern and ancient Midrash

We are starting all over again! We are going back to the beginning of Genesis to explore the spoken and unspoken lives of the women and some of the men--but mostly women--who appear in the text and between the words of the text. We will use the midrash method to explore their lives, their inner thoughts, and the world they inhabited while we employ our imagination and creativity mirroring what midrash offers us. No previous experience necessary though a willingness to be inventive and imaginative will help.

 

This online class is led by Rabbi Elaine Zecher and is free and open to all.
