Beit Tefillah - Yizkor
Yizkor - May God Remember

Do you consider yourself a mourner? We have a special service for you...

Three times each year we gather in the intimacy of the Slater Lounge and take some time for prayer, remembering and sharing. On the eves of Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah, Pesach and Shavuot, we offer a special service for those who consider themselves mourners. The service is called "Yizkor," and it means "May God Remember." We dedicate this service to the memory of our family members and loved ones who have died, and we provide some time to share our memories amidst the music, the prayers and the quiet feeling of sitting in the company of our own community

In addition to these three special times, we join together as a congregation on Yom Kippur afternoon to recite Yizkor. During the services for the three festivals of Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah, Pesach and Shavuot we include prayers for Yizkor as well.

Check the Calendar for upcoming dates and times.
