Gather with us onsite or online for Qabbalat Shabbat. All are welcome to join this service full of prayer, meditation, and music!
We welcome guest scholar Dr. Rachel Fish for an evening of dynamic study. During our Shabbat together, Dr. Fish will discuss, "How Worried Should American Jewry Be About Its Future?". This talk examines the complex and evolving landscape the American Jewish community is navigating, facing both external challenges—such as the rise of Jew-hatred and the politicization of Israel—and internal challenges, including generational shifts in attitudes toward Zionism, the concept of Jewish peoplehood, and perceptions of Israel's conflicts with its neighbors. Dr. Rachel Fish will share her thoughts and insights on these matters. Dr. Fish's talk is sponsored by the Center for Adult Jewish Learning.
