In celebration of our cemetery, a place of history, contemplation, and spiritual renewal
Since 1859, our cemetery has been an important aspect of Temple Israel. It is a beautiful cemetery with flowering trees and headstones from the 19th century – a peaceful setting for the Congregation’s Annual Memorial Service.
The Service will be held at the Temple Israel Cemetery in Wakefield. A brief walking tour of the historic cemetery highlighting several members of the Temple who are buried in the cemetery. This is followed by a memorial service. In case of rain, the event will take place the following Sunday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m.
