Israel lost over 1,200 people on October 7, when thousands of Hamas terrorists burst through the Gaza border, launching a war which has dragged on for months — leading to tens of thousands of deaths and leaving both Israelis and Palestinians wondering what’s next. We heard from Sam Sokol, who has been covering Israel’s war against Hamas since the horrendous events of October 7—both on the ground in the south and in the halls of the Knesset.

Sam Sokol is the Times of Israel’s political correspondent. He was previously a reporter for the Jerusalem Post, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and Haaretz. He is the author of “Putin’s Hybrid War and the Jews.”
