Radical Judaism: Rethinking God and Tradition with Rabbi Art Green
On Sunday, January 23, 2022 we welcomed Rabbi Art Green to join Rabbi Suzie Jacobson in conversation to look closely at his two books “Radical Judaism: Rethinking God and Tradition” and “Judaism for the World: Reflections on God, Life, and Love,” and to dive into concepts of God, the origins and meaning of existence, human nature, and revelation.
Rabbi Art Green is one of the most important Jewish theologians alive today. He was the founding dean and is currently rector and professor of the Rabbinical School at Hebrew College and has written more than a dozen books of Jewish thought and history. Drawing on the language of Kabbalah and Hasidism, Rabbi Green argues that a neomystical perspective can help us view our world as a dwelling place of the sacred.
